For Artists, Nurses and Gentlewomen

Apply for a Grant

 

Please note: this is a small charity and our grants are modest. At the moment our average grant is under £300 and not everyone is successful.

Applicants must:

  1. Complete an application form.  Incomplete forms will not be processed.
  2. Provide a letter of support from a third party. For artists, support letters are typically from tutors, curators or gallerists.  Support letters for nurses can come from Citizens Advice, social worker, health visitor, key worker, housing officer, or senior colleague. 
  3. Provide evidence of benefits if you are in receipt of any. We regret we cannot return documents to you.
  4. Give a realistic estimate of the price of the item you intend to buy.

NURSES - use our Eaton Fund Nurse's Application Form This is a fillable PDF- save it and open in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (or similar) to fill it in online. Or print it  out and fill in by hand. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free to download.

 

WOMEN IN HARDSHIP -  referees applying on behalf of women in hardship should  use  the Women in Hardship application for.  It is a fillable pdf.  Please try to use this pdf.

Please don't send forms as Word documents, scans or photos.  Avoid sending encrypted forms. 

 

You can send the pdf form back by email to admin@eatonfund.org.uk with supporting documents.  Supporting documents can be in any format as long as they are easy to read.

 

We do not consider ineligible applications. Please ensure you read our eligibility criteria very carefully before completing your form.

 

If you have a had a grant from the Eaton Fund, we cannot offer a second grant.

 

We are accepting applications by email to admin@eatonfund.org.uk- occasionally emails can get lost in the spam filter, so please  keep a copy.

 

Do not sent mobile phone screen shots of the application form.  We can't read them.

 

We do not send acknowledgements. Applicants normally will not hear from us until the Trustees have made a decision.
